![]() ![]() ![]() My only quibbles are that Classic Sonic's physics aren't perfect, the story is lazily tacked-on to the experience, and the scoring system is too generous, so getting an S rank doesn't really feel like an accomplishment anymore. It's everything that was great about the past 25 years of Sonic freshly polished and updated for the modern audience. It's the first Sonic game in a while with no major issues, and that alone makes it worth purchasing. Above all else, though, this is probably the most polished game in the series, with tight controls, almost no bugs and very fair level design that doesn't throw obstacles at you with no warning (I swear, that sign they put to warn you what is and isn't a death pit is my favorite thing they've added to Sonic in over a decade). ![]() It has great level design, gorgeous art, and on PC it runs at a solid 60fps with no real issues. ![]() Hell yeah, best Sonic game since Adventure 2, possibly even since 3 and Knuckles depending on who you ask. ![]()
